Explanation of international requirements
The requirements imposed by various countries on imported packaging are based on the latest data from the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) in Wageningen. No rights can be derived from the content of this information.
Is the country you are looking for not listed in the international country overview?
Then the NVWA is not aware of how the country in question handles packaging wood and ISPM 15. Sometimes countries do not disclose that they comply with ISPM 15 or have implemented ISPM 15, but imports are still handled accordingly. It is therefore recommended to use ISPM 15-treated and marked packaging wood for these countries as well.
This is an overview of the country codes.
