Accreditation Council (RvA)
De The Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) is responsible for:
- accreditation contracts with certification bodies: supervision through initial assessment, annual audit, and reassessment at least every four years;
- collaboration with SMHV through periodic evaluation of the scheme. SMHV is included in the list of schemes for which the RvA can grant accreditation (BR010), under number NAP-0052;
- informing the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) regarding assessment results.
